Product Details

The AD Iris Valve is the most popular of Mucon's hand operated range of iris valves.

 

Construction

All body parts are manufactured from aluminium, zinc and bronze alloys. Nylon triggers and 316 stainless steel screws are used to combat corrosion. Sizes 380mm and 450mm have handwheel operation as standard.

 

Options include

  • 316 stainless steel part or full construction
  • Multi-notching of the valve is offered to to enhance flow control
  • Coatings are available on standard construction Iris Valves
  • Handwheel operation is available for sizes 150mm to 300mm
  • All AD Iris Valves can be fitted with position indicating switches

  • Robust construction for medium to heavy duties, handling materials up to 1600 kg/m
